Kodak makes Super-8 film, but they never were a major player on the camera side.

There are Super-8 camera repair places, but many of them specialize in more common brands, such as Elmo, or Beaulieu, or Nizo....

Perhaps some others will contribute a repair place for you that is close to where you live. I think repair places are a bit reluctant to handle certain Super-8 cameras because if you believe your camera to be "worth" a hundred dollars, how much would you spend to fix it? (probably less than a $100.00)

Whereas if you believe your camera is worth $300, or $500, or $1,000...you would be willing to spend more money to get it fixed.

I believe most camera repair places don't like to do repair jobs that don't cost at least $100.00, because there is just a certain amount of time involved no matter how simple the repair may or may not be.

So, you may have to ask yourself what do you think your camera is worth, and will someone give you a free-estimate.

To be honost you could buy 15-20 Kodak M20's on ebay for $100. Repair for the Kodak instamatic cameras will be way more than what you can buy many more working ones for and repair is probably impossible anyway.
